As an introduction to social dance, this program is designed to give you basic steps and movement, as well as basic lead and follow techniques. This option is good for couples or singles who are absolute beginners in ballroom and social dancing and wish to see what it’s all about. First time students of Palmer Dance Studio only please.

3 (50) minute lessons- $265.00

At the conclusion of this level, you will know the foot positions and the basic steps and movements of whatever dance style you’ve chosen to learn. You will be able to join the figures together as you develop some continuity and smoothness as well as a basic sense of musicality, timing and increased confidence.

5 (50) minute lessons- $420.00

This program will give you a solid foundation in popular dance styles done at public social dances. At the conclusion of this level, you will have a better understanding of lead/follow through hold, hand connections, and posture. You will be able to add more variety to your dancing and will also begin to feel the enjoyment and satisfaction of becoming a good dancer.

10 (50) minute lessons- $720.00

This dance program is designed to give you ease and assurance in your dancing. At the conclusion of this level, you will have a good understanding of the techniques required to show the characteristics of the dance style through good balance, foot and leg control, poise, styling and overall presentation. You will have the confidence and knowledge to be comfortable dancing at any social event or nightclub!
